What is the Combined Score?
The Combined Score is your aggregate score across all the performance metrics in a challenge.
The Math Behind Combined Score:
Mathematically: We calculate your percentile rank for each metric and multiply it by the weight of each metric.
Explained:
Each challenge has multiple evaluation criteria. These criteria will be displayed in your overview and showcased in the participant's table.
Combined Score will calculate your rank for each metric and use "percentiles" to translate it into a number we can use across all metrics.
Each percentile is multiplied by the weight given for the challenge. Weights for each criterion are found here:
What does this mean?
Your "Combined Score" is a representation of how well you are doing in the challenge, relative to others. Expect this to change drastically day-to-day, as you and improve, others improve, and more people join the challenge.
